Mental Health & Wellbeing Support

Supporting Children, Young People and Families to Thrive

At Jigsaw, we believe that no one should have to face life's challenges alone. Whether someone is experiencing anxiety, low mood, depression, emotional distress, trauma, or simply finding everyday life overwhelming, we're here to help.

We provide compassionate, confidential and trauma-informed support that empowers children, young people and families to improve their emotional wellbeing, build resilience and move forward with confidence.

Our aim is simple: to ensure that every person who comes to us feels heard, valued and supported, not passed from service to service or left waiting until problems become more difficult to manage.

Our Approach

Everything we do is built on relationships.

We take time to understand each person's experiences, strengths and aspirations, recognising that no two journeys are the same. Rather than focusing solely on problems, we work alongside individuals and families to build confidence, develop practical coping strategies and create lasting positive change.

Our practitioners provide a safe, welcoming environment where people can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgement, at a pace that feels right for them.

Our approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming and person-centred, ensuring support is tailored to each individual's unique experiences and needs.

Our Team

Our multidisciplinary team brings together expertise from clinical, educational and community settings. This includes counsellors, psychologists, mental health nurses and experienced therapeutic practitioners who work collaboratively to provide holistic support.

By combining clinical knowledge with strong community relationships, we ensure support is accessible, practical and responsive to the needs of every child, young person and family.

Therapeutic Support

We offer a range of evidence-informed therapeutic approaches, selecting the most appropriate intervention for each individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.

Our therapeutic services include:

Counselling

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Dialectial Behavioural Therapy (DBT)

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Every intervention is carefully tailored to the individual's strengths, goals and circumstances, helping people develop healthy coping strategies, improve emotional wellbeing and build long-term resilience.
