Jigsaw is a community‑based charity providing trauma‑informed support to children, young people and families who are struggling with their mental health, wellbeing or day‑to‑day stability. We exist to make sure no one feels alone, unheard or lost in the system. Our work is grounded in kindness, consistency and a belief that people thrive when they feel safe, understood and supported at their own pace.

At Jigsaw, we take a relational approach. We build trust slowly, listen carefully and work alongside families to understand what life is really like for them. Many of the people we support are facing complex challenges—anxiety, trauma, neurodiversity, school difficulties, family stress, housing instability or crisis situations. Our role is to offer calm, steady support that helps them regain confidence, stability and hope.

Our founding ethos is our service development is grounded in continuous engagement with families, professionals, and community partners. We have undertaken a range of service mapping activities to ensure our offer directly responds to local needs.

This ethos and practical approach has led to Jigsaw being recognised for our responsive, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming approach, particularly in supporting children and families with complex emotional and mental health needs. Our team plays a key role in both early intervention and crisis response, offering rapid access to therapeutic support, safety planning, and multi-agency coordination when families are in distress.
