Jigsaw Community College (JCC) is our accredited training hub that provides training, qualifications and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for people working in community, youth and education settings across Gloucestershire.

 

Our vocational, wellbeing and employability programmes help people develop the skills, confidence and qualifications needed to achieve their goals.

 

We believe that learning should be accessible, practical and relevant to everyone. Our courses are designed to help people develop their knowledge, skills and confidence, whether you're taking your first steps into employment, returning to education after a break, changing career, or looking to gain new skills. Our supportive and inclusive learning environment helps you progress at your own pace.

 

Our courses combine recognised qualifications with practical, real-world experience, creating clear pathways into employment, volunteering and further education.

 

Our Courses

 

 

Jigsaw Community College offers training and qualifications designed to support people working with children, young people and communities. 

 

We offer a growing range of accredited and introductory programmes, including:

 

  • Level 2 and 3 Youth Work

  • Teaching Assistant (TA) Training

  • Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools and Colleges

  • Talking Therapies and Mental Health Support Skills

  • Volunteering and Community Leadership

  • Social Care and Support Work

  • Employability and Work Readiness Programmes

  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and other training opportunities

 

Our programme of courses continues to develop in response to the needs of local communities, education settings and the wider charity and voluntary sector.

Jigsaw Community College is about more than gaining qualifications. It's about helping people discover their strengths, build confidence and create opportunities for the future.

 

Many of our learners are parents, carers, young adults or people returning to education after a period away. We understand that people have different experiences, responsibilities and starting points. Our aim is to provide supportive and accessible learning that helps each learner progress.

 

Whatever your starting point, our experienced tutors provide personalised support in a welcoming environment where everyone is encouraged to succeed.

 

By developing confidence and learning alongside practical skills and experience, we help people move towards employment, further study, volunteering, professional development and greater independence.
